Dubai Insurance Company was the first local Insurance Company to be formed in the Dubai when it was incorporated in 1970 Company. Thus, we mark 48 years since its formation by Decree of His Highness, Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum.
This year premium written by Dubai Insurance is well on its way to reach AED 500 m in 2018. Even more notable since just a decade ago its gross written premium was under AED 20 m. Further, despite such steep growth Dubai Insurance remains among the top performers in terms of underwriting profitability.
In acknowledgement of its performance and outlook, AM Best has assigned Financial Strength Rating of
A - (Excellent) with a Stable Outlook.
