A FAMILY TRADITION Günter Augstin + son Frank Augstin Gas and water plumber in Berlin-Neukölln The company was founded in 1960 by Günter Augstin in Berlin-Neukölln. After retraining to become a gas and water fitter, the trained businessman decided to start his own business. In January 1986 the senior boss retired and handed the management over to his son Frank Augstin. However , he continued to bring his many years of professional experience as a gas and water plumber profitably to the SHK Berlin guild. Even then, an average of four fitters and one trainee were employed. After Alexander Augstin took over the management of the company as a qualified gas and water fitter in 2009, two more employees, an office worker and an additional fitter joined the Augstin Gas & Water team. Our success is also based on the long-term cooperation with our partners: We have been working successfully with the electrical company Menzel for over 20 years and with the company Vaith & Sohn Tile laying for more than a decade . As a medium-sized company, we take our social responsibility seriously and support non-profit institutions in our region. We have been sponsoring the Stern Britz football club in Berlin for several years.
